Yan Sheng
President of China Operation for Intellectual Ventures
Mr. Yan is President of China Operation for Intellectual Ventures, a Washington based multi-billion Dollar investment firm focusing on intellectual properties. Prior to that, Mr. Yan had long and distinguished career in banking and finance with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. His experience stretches from Bank of China in FICC business in 80’s through stints Lehman Brothers in Fixed Income, FleetBoston as MD and Head of Greater China and most recently at AIG Financial Product as MD and Head of China.
Yan Sheng also worked for few other firms including Tokyo Mitsubishi Intl, Commonwealth Bank Australia and South Africa based Standard Bank. Altogether, Mr. Yan has about 30 years’ experience in Asia, New York and Europe working at investment banks, banks and funds management companies. His expertise includes management, fund raising, sales and trading, investment and corporate advisories.
